Greenskeeper/Snow Removal

SUMMARY Under the direction of the assistant superintendent and the Director or Agronomy. This full-time year round position would include but not limited to, mowing greens, tees, fairways and rough; grass trimming; seeding, sodding and planting trees and flowers; changing cups; preparing course for daily play; and removal of snow during winter months.    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Trash and litter pick-up from the course. Mowing of greens, tees, fairways and rough using powered equipment. Grass trimming using string trimmers and rotary lawn mowers. Raking bunkers with a powered rake. Changing cups and preparing the course for daily play. Landscaping with hand tools. Laying sod, seeding, planting trees and planting flowers. Assist in the watering of newly landscaped areas. Help maintain a clean and safe work environment. Other golf course maintenance activities as directed by the assistant superintendent. Assist in the tree removal process Work on construction projects on golf course and grounds. Snow removal of parking lots, roads, and sidewalks. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
