Tamarack Resort is looking for an experienced Maintenance Tech to perform maintenance, repairs and service activities, including refurbishments, upgrades, preventative maintenance and corrective actions. Join the Tamarack Resort team and be a part of the Pacific Northwest's premier destination resort! The Maintenance Tech repairs and maintains machinery, plumbing, physical structures and electrical wiring and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, manuals, building codes and company maintenance policy. They will work to create a positive team environment, as well as achieving optimum performance. The Maintenance Tech I will assist with maintaining the AAA Four Diamond standards.

Responsibilities
- Maintenance, repair, and appearance of all physical property
- Investigates failures in equipment and make required repairs.
- Communicate and work directly with subcontractors to make larger repairs.
- Performs preventative maintenance and repair tasks on equipment including furnaces, air handlers, boilers, hot water heaters, kitchen equipment, and other machinery.
- Completes the installation of appliances including range cooktops, microwaves, dishwashers, and kitchen disposals.
- Performs light plumbing repairs on fixtures pr piping including sinks, showers, tubs, hot water heaters, kitchen equipment and their associated components.
- Performs light electrical repairs on fixtures or wiring (120V) including lamps, fans, switches/dimmers, kitchen equipment and their associated components.
- Performs light repairs to woodwork, drywall, paint and finish work.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing experience required
- Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must have valid Idaho Driver’s license and meet company driving standards
- Must be able to work with power operated landscaping equipment
- Must have excellent leadership skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays
