What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa Concierge position at Tamarack Resort?
JOB SUMMARY:
The Spa Coordinator will be responsible for interacting with guests and delivering a positive impression of the spa and impeccable customer service. Includes greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products, booking all appointments, checking the guest into the computer system and charging for services performed. Additionally assists with transitional cleaning of relaxation and locker room/dressing areas as needed.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Act as an ambassador of the Tamarack Resort and Spa, greeting and welcoming all guests who enter facility.
Manage flow of communication by answering phones, routing and screening calls, greeting visitors, coordinating incoming and outbound mail, responding to inquiries and providing information about the spa.
Accurately book, change and cancel spa appointments.
Ensure that the check-in and payment processes are handled in accordance with company policy by processing cash, credit card and credit transactions accurately.
Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility and hours of operation.
Utilize spa computers with skill and proficiency, document guest information in electronic record as directed.
Actively promote the spa treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or incentives.
Handle guest questions and concerns promptly, professionally and courteously.
Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with Tamarack policy.
Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
Ability to perform the duties of Retail Consultant if needed.
Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-task.
Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
Enjoy working with people and possess a positive, friendly and outgoing personality.
Excellent communication, listening and computer skills, SpaSoft experience a plus.
Must be a team player.
SKILLS
Good computer and organizational skills and capable of managing details of your schedule and monitor appointments from a smart phone or device remotely.

A very clean, hygienic work environment. Ability to handle a variety of customer responses and request assistance from management if needed to handle any customer situations.
You will be working with 5-7 co-workers in the spa and salon. Tamarack is a mountain resort, and during winter months reliable transportation will be necessary to drive to and from work in snow.
