The Fund Development Coordinator supports Tamarack Waldorf School by coordinating fundraising and friend-raising efforts that engage and enliven the school community, support its budget, and help carry out its mission. They will promote positive relationships both within the school community and the community at large in ways that inspire people to become involved and support the financial and general well-being of the school. Joining a supportive administrative team, dynamic faculty, and dedicated board, they will work to bring Tamarack into an exciting new phase of growth and transformation.
Responsibilities include:
· Create and implement the school’s current and future plans to engage the community in the economic realm of the school, working with parents, alumni, the Board of Trustees, and administration.
· Cultivate relationships with donors, grandparents, alumni, and parent volunteers to conduct the Annual Appeal Campaign and annual fundraising events.
· Encourage and facilitate activities that build positive relationships with parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends from the greater community so that gifts of work, wealth and wisdom are welcomed and integrated into the school’s achievement of its plans.
· Collaborate with the Marketing and Outreach Committees to ensure a strong, positive image of the school in the greater community.
A Bachelor’s degree and experience in community-oriented fundraising is desired. Experience in major gifts development, capital asks, event management, annual campaigns, and current development software are strongly preferred. An enthusiasm for Waldorf education and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are also highly valued.
Tamarack Waldorf School is a full member school of AWSNA, encompassing early childhood through Grade 8, with an enrollment of more than 225 students.
