Description :
Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC, a Department of Defense contractor, is now hiring a Software Quality Engineer T3 to support the customer and shall provide system administration services to the Government for both physical and virtual hosted applications. We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer T3 that will be part of an energetic, results-driven team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the need for advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and design skills. The ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users is also essential. The Software Quality Engineer T3 must be familiar with the systems engineering process and data as a fundamental building block for performance improvement. Participation in working groups, design reviews, and system tests is required. Candidates will help generate assessments, as well as develop and implement actionable recommendations based on reviews.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasks
- May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor / specialist
- May lead and direct the work of others
- Subject matter expert providing testing expertise for support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software / hardware applications
- Directs and / or participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software / hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection
- Responsible for ensuring that the test design and documentation support all applicable client, agency or industry standards timelines and budgets
- Responsible for ensuring that testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results, and project managers are fully informed of testing status and application deviations from documented user requirements
