Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Alarm Technician to join our team. As an Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems. Duties:
- Install, program, and troubleshoot security systems, CCTV, access controls and network infrastructure and related equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on alarm systems
- Respond to service calls and perform repairs as needed
- Test system functionality and ensure proper operation
- Provide technical support to customers regarding alarm system usage
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Experience:
- Previous experience as an Alarm Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and electrical principles
- Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints
- Experience in field service or as a service technician preferred
- Basic computer networking skills
- Proficient in cabling techniques
