Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process all vehicle sales deals, including new, used, and wholesale units.
- Verify and post sales transactions to accounting records.
- Prepare and submit funding packages to financial institutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure all paperwork is complete and compliant with state and dealership regulations.
- Reconcile schedules related to billing, including sales, finance, and dealer trades.
- Process warranty cancellations, finance product cancellations, and refunds.
- Communicate with sales, finance, and service departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with title and registration processes when needed.
- Maintain and organize billing records and files.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding billing issues and discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Prior dealership billing or accounting experience required.
- Strong understanding of automotive sales paperwork and DMV regulations.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and dealership management software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds).
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting or Business is a plus.
