Responsibilities:
The Line Manager will be responsible for:
• Supervising the team that operates the two shingle lines on a 24/7 operation
• Promoting the safety program with production team and enlisting their help and feedback on safety observations and reporting safety concerns
• Daily reporting, problem-solving, process and equipment troubleshooting
• Operating and maintaining manufacturing processes and equipment to control processes to maximize quality and output
• Providing assistance, guidance, and supervision for daily projects and tasks
• Training and developing production line staff
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must have an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training. They must also possess strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
