Senior IT Business Process Analyst

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP OTC Business Analyst to join our team.  As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technical solutions.  Your responsibilities will include analyzing, documenting, and communicating business processes and requirements.

• Elicit Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, managers, and IT teams, to gather and document detailed business requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and data analysis to identify and understand user needs.
• Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and automation opportunities. Provide recommendations for process enhancements and optimizations.
• Solution Design: Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications and user stories. Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate and effective solution design.
• Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
• Testing and Validation: Create test plans, test cases, and conduct user acceptance testing to ensure the implemented solutions meet the business requirements and objectives.
• Change Management: Support change management initiatives by assisting in the development of training materials, conducting user training, and providing ongoing support to end-users during the implementation phase.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, and other project-related artifacts.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders, project managers, and senior leadership.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement within business processes and systems and suggest appropriate solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (five years or more) as a Business Analyst or in a similar role specifically working with ERP and CRM systems, with a track record of successful project deliveries.
• Strong understanding of ERP (SAP ECC 6 On-Premises Preferred) and CRM (Salesforce) functionalities and configuration, with deep knowledge of SAP OTC.
• Experience with Rebates and FI/CO preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with all levels of the organization communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with project management principles and agile methodologies.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of relevant software and systems used in the industry (e.g., Microsoft Office, SAP, BI tools).
• Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Experience using SAP Signavio preferred
