The program is comprised of a comprehensive and flexible strategy that allows recent graduates to build upon their educational foundation in order to define, evaluate and achieve a variety of career-related objectives.
Interns are placed within a specific department and encouraged to explore all aspects of the business of professional football through various outreach programs, networking events, and via our Internship Learning Series. Interns will learn from and establish relationships with team executives that will benefit their lives both personally and professionally.
This is an hourly position starting July 14, 2025, through June 26, 2026. Interns are expected to commit to the full term of the internship.

Core Functions
The Digital Department is seeking a Digital Operations Intern to:
- Concept and publish on Buccaneers digital platforms, with a keen focus on our Website & YouTube
- Use multiple CMS’ and gain practical experience in best practices.
- Write SEO friendly metadata while remaining true to the Buccaneers brand voice.
- Assist with both digital asset workflow and creation of web & app pages. Buccaneers content is published daily and has mix of media sources, layouts and purposes.
- Monitor and track digital performance by pulling analytics and creating frequent reports
- Ability to post enriched media content, including YouTube, Website, Shortform & Audio
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent oral/written communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to think creatively, work independently, and take ownership of projects
- Strong professional demeanor
- The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Must be able to provide your own housing and transportation in the Tampa Bay area
- The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Completed bachelor’s or graduate degree, preferably in Digital Media, Social Media, Journalism, Production, or related field
- Experience in Photoshop and working with digital assets of all types: images, videos, audio, graphics, text-based
- Prior experience managing the digital presence of a brand is important for success in this role
- Experience in the sports industry preferred
- The Buccaneers are a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment.
- Extended evening and weekend work hours are sometimes required. You are required to work all home and some away games (some travel is expected). You may have to work occasional holidays.
- High-intensity work environment in executing deliverables on short deadlines.
- Computer and desk work a significant part of daily activities.
