Medical Assistant
Full-Time Medical Assistant needed for busy hand specialty private practice. Responsibilities include:
- Verifying patient identity
- Reviewing patient documents
- Ability to interpret clinical records
- Anticipating clinical needs per physician protocols
- Taking and recording vital signs
- Accurate documentation in patient charts
- Clear and effective communication
- Knowledge of clean and sterile techniques
- Suture removals
- Wound dressings
- Assisting with cast application and removal
- Assisting physician with in-office minor procedures
- Assisting with Operating Room workflow
- Maintaining inventory and communicating supply order needs
- Stocking rooms to prepare for patient care as appropriate
- Liaison to physician and non-clinical staff members as needed
