Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Spray Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying various treatments and solutions to residential landscapes and lawns to promote healthy growth and pest control. This role requires a strong understanding of horticultural practices and the ability to operate both backpack sprayers and power tools effectively. The Spray Technician will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure high-quality service delivery. The ability to lift weights of approximately 50 lbs is required.
Duties
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers according to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Operate power tools for effective application of treatments.
- Conduct regular inspections of treated areas to monitor effectiveness and identify any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments applied, including dates, locations, and types of products used.
- Collaborate with sales teams to provide recommendations based on customer needs and landscape conditions.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and stored after use.
- Follow safety protocols to protect oneself and the environment during application processes.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or pest control is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
