The Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Rowdies are looking for high-energy, outgoing, and enthusiastic individuals to join our Rays/Rowdies Street Team! As a key part of our marketing efforts, Street Team members will bring the excitement of Rays and Rowdies baseball and soccer to life at events throughout the Greater Tampa Bay Area.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with fans at external events with energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Represent the Rays/Rowdies and their partners with pride and passion.
- Set up, operate, and break down interactive activations (e.g., inflatable games, sound systems, pop-up tents).
- Serve as a mascot handler at home games and community appearances, assisting with photos, skits, and mascot safety.
- Raise brand awareness at grassroots events and act as a knowledgeable ambassador for community initiatives and promotions.
- Attend and assist with parades, ensuring safety and fan engagement.
- Manage the Rays Rookies Kids Club kiosk on game days and assist with packing on non-game days.
- Represent the Rays/Rowdies at major events inside and outside the ballpark/pitch, including Running with the Rays 5K, Fan Fest, watch parties, concerts, parades, theme nights, and more.
- Operate Street Team vehicles for event transportation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and potentially holidays.
- Must reside in the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
- Must work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods (3-4 hours at a time).
- Reliable, punctual, self-sufficient, solution-oriented, and proactive with a “no task is too small” attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong multi-tasking, listening, and communication skills.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide reliable transportation to and from events.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Prior experience in promotions, event operations, or marketing.
- Experience working in sports, particularly baseball and/or soccer.
- Experience working with children.
- Must be comfortable working in outdoor settings, including inclement weather.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during events.
