What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Corporate Partnerships Sales position at Tampa Bay Rowdies?
The Tampa Bay Rowdies are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Manager, Corporate Partnerships to assist with the sales, activation, and retention of sponsorships for the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by establishing new, long-term, multi-layered and fully integrated corporate partnerships for the Tampa Bay Rowdies
- Establish strong working relationships with local, regional and national companies to understand individual marketing and business goals and initiatives
- Formulate cross-property Partnerships for the Tampa Bay Rowdies & Rays (MLB) for the following properties: Al Lang Stadium (Rowdies) and Rays Regular & Spring Training Facilities
- Identify key open categories and new categories as prospective new business leads
- Generate qualified leads by self-prospecting via research, outbound calls, face to face meetings, in-game entertaining, business and community networking events and social selling
- Renew and grow existing corporate sponsorships through continued outstanding service and upselling of additional sponsorship assets into current partnership agreements
- Act as a face of our organization when attending a multitude of different networking and community events to enhance current partner relations and create new ones
- Work to have the construct of our partnerships, both current and new, align with the processes, standards and overall goals of supporting departments and the organization as a whole
- Look for incremental revenue verticals by way of new asset offerings, inventory management & anticipation of up and coming competitive categories
- Successfully collaborate with other departments to generate multi-faceted partnerships that not only achieve the client’s goals but also meet the needs for our own organization
- Develop data driven and aesthetically pleasing proposals by working in tandem with our Marketing Creative Services team and by effectively utilizing figures from YouGov, Relo Metrics, SponsorUnited and other sources
- Track all corporate partner activity and updates daily through KORE
- Administer partner signage fabrication and scheduling
- Assist with all sponsorship-related setup and activations for games
- Support overall inventory management efforts
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of corporate partnerships sales experience, preferably in sports
- Ability to assimilate into a team environment
- Uplifting contributor to team culture
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of Rowdies and Rays corporate partners
- Proficiencies in Microsoft programs; Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, KORE, etc.
- Experience with Relo Metrics, YouGov & SponsorUnited
