Position SummaryThe Pediatric Licensed Clinical Social Worker( LCSW) provides comprehensive therapeutic services to children and adolescents at the community health center. This includes assessment, treatment planning, counseling, and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams to address emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. The role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and culturally sensitive environment.Essential Duties & Functions1. Clinical Services
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and adolescents to identify emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the child's needs and goals.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based interventions.
- Address trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, developmental delays, and other behavioral health conditions.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.2. Collaboration and Consultation
- Work closely with families to educate and engage them in their child's care.
- Collaborate with primary care providers, school personnel, and other community resources to ensure holistic support.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and improve outcomes.3. Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Ensure services meet ethical, legal, and professional standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to performance metrics.4. Program Development and Community Engagement
- Assist in developing pediatric behavioral health programs and initiatives.
- Conduct outreach and education for parents, caregivers, and community partners on pediatric mental health topics.
- Represent the organization at community events and collaborate with local agencies to enhance servicesRequired Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Training
- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Licensure as an LCSWRequired Years of Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to children and adolescents, preferably in a community health or outpatient setting.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally sensitive approaches.Required Knowledge, Skills, and / or Abilities
- Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, play therapy, or family systems therapy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
