What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wellness Nurse (LPN/RN) position at Tampa Gardens Senior Living?
We're looking for a Wellness Nurse (Licensed LPN or Registered Nurse) to join the team!
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing services to residents, while promoting the highest level of well-being, as directed by management
- Administer medication and treatments according to health care providers' orders and state regulations
- Supervise and direct nursing assistants as needed
- Monitor resident responses to treatment plans and identify adverse medication interactions, alerting the resident care coordinator of any issues
- Update resident records with information regarding nursing care, treatment plans, and observations
Requirements:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice
- One year of nursing experience, preferably in an assisted living environment
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
- Must possess a valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Must be able to maintain mental alertness, attention, and concentration for necessary periods
- Maintain resident, employee, and community confidentiality; abide HIPPA laws.
Work Schedule:
- Monday- Friday
- 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
(Can talk about the schedule being more flexible during Interview)
