Job Overview :
The Inventory and Expense Control Manager ensures the completeness and accuracy surrounding the allocation of facilities and maintenance expenses at all THA RAD properties.
This position will play a crucial role in assisting the department with managing and maintaining facilities and maintenance expenses in Yardi to ensure accurate and efficient expense processing. The Inventory and Expense Control Manager will coordinate the efficient ordering, storage, and allocation of materials inventories. This position will also ensure compliance with agency policies, generate reports, provide support to Facilities Supervisors on budgets, and propose process improvements regarding expense allocation and materials management.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties :
- Provide reporting to Facilities leadership on monthly, quarterly, and annual expense totals and variances.
- Identify Facilities Supervisors’ expense allocation discrepancies and take appropriate actions. Provide guidance to supervisors on expense coding.
- Lead the QC processing
- Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to troubleshoot any technical issues related to Yardi’s Facilities and Maintenance GL coding.
- Generate reports to track expense trends, analyze spending patterns, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Reduce parts and supplies holding costs and boost inventory turnover across properties.
- Provide demand forecasting based on project schedules, work order trends and preventative maintenance findings to assist in predicting the demand or requirement for materials.
- Analyze various suppliers to ensure the agency is receiving optimum cost-effectiveness.
