The Enterprise Asset Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, management, and optimization of the airport's assets to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves working closely with various departments to develop asset management strategies, implement best practices, and ensure the long-term sustainability of airport assets. The Enterprise Asset Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the airport's operational performance and ensuring a seamless experience for passengers. The Enterprise Asset Manager shall utilize the computerized Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) to identify resources, analyze reports for operational assessments, streamline maintenance processes according to strategic plans, allocate appropriate resources, and ensure the completion of financial objectives for preventive and corrective maintenance is significant to the work.


POSITION ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Asset Management:

  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all airport assets, including buildings, infrastructure, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Partner with asset owners to verify that asset records are up-to-date and reflect accurate condition assessments.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of assets, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Develop and implement asset replacement and refurbishment plans based on lifecycle analysis.
  • Participate in long-term strategic planning for airport development and Capital Improvement projects.
  • Lead regular inspections and assessments of assets to evaluate their condition, performance, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Utilize inspection findings to inform maintenance schedules and capital improvement projects.

Maintenance Planning:

  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of assets.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the asset management budget, including maintenance and capital expenditure planning.
  • Analyze financial performance related to asset management and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Data Analysis:

  • Utilize asset management software and analytics tools to track performance metrics and generate reports for airport leadership.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in asset management practices.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with airport operations, finance, maintenance, planning and development, IT and other departments to align asset management strategies with operational needs.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including contractors and regulatory agencies, as necessary.

Training:

  • Provide training and support to staff involved in asset management and maintenance operations.
  • Promote best practices in asset management throughout the organization.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Asset Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in asset management, facilities management, or a related field, preferably in an airport or transportation environment. Preference for experience in growing and leading asset management teams aligned with supporting the sustainable growth of asset management within the organization.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in asset management software and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of airport operations and regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Industry certifications such as Institute of Asset Management (IAM), Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.


COMPENSATION

$120,000 based on experience


REQUIRED FOR ALL HCAA JOBS

  • In the event of an emergency or disaster that impacts the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority (HCAA), an employee may be required to respond promptly to duties and responsibilities as assigned by the employee’s department or the HCAA Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Such assignments may be before, during, or after the emergency/disaster.
  • Complies with all HCAA Policies, Procedures, and Standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
