Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of clients.
- Oversee daily operations within health services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and support staff to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor medication administration processes to ensure safety and adherence to prescribed protocols.
- Manage budgets and financial resources effectively, demonstrating strong financial acumen in decision-making.
- Provide training and support to staff on operational procedures, care strategies, and client engagement techniques.
- Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the healthcare system, promoting a person-centered approach.
- Evaluate service delivery effectiveness and implement improvements as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in health services administration or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of operations management within healthcare settings.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with home care, home community care, and long-term care practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- A background in social work or related disciplines is a plus.
- Ability to develop financial plans and manage budgets effectively.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.
- Indiana State Facility Administration license in good standing
- Knowledge of P&L and cost control
- Knowledge of census development
- Customer service, resident engagement and resident rights focus
- Staff development and mentoring knowledge preferred
