Job Summary
We are an outpatient psychiatry practice and we are hiring for our location in Brandon/Tampa. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and provide exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office. As a growing team we are in need of another office staff member to cover. We are looking for a full-time team member (Monday through Friday, 8am to 5:00pm with a lunch break).
We offer 120 PTOs, 8 paid holidays, health insurance and 401 K coverage.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain patient records and update information in the system
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Prior authorization for medications
Skills
- Experience in a medical setting such as a hospital, clinic, or psychiatry office is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proficiency in using office systems and software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
