Fine Dining Server

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Fine Dining Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a keen understanding of fine dining etiquette. As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, ensuring that every detail of their dining experience is perfect. Your ability to engage with guests and provide personalized service will be key to your success in this role.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage offerings, showcasing knowledge of the menu items.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently using the OpenTable system or other restaurant software.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to fine dining standards.
• Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout the dining experience, including sanitizing surfaces as needed.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as necessary.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining high levels of guest relations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of dishes served.
• Uphold cleanliness standards in the dining area, ensuring all sanitation protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments effectively.
• Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of wine pairings and fine dining etiquette is highly desirable.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
