Job Summary
The Tampa Yacht & Country Club is a Platinum Club of America featuring tennis, pickleball, marina, pool, equestrian, catered events, & fine dining. The Court Maintenance attendant will work on a diverse range of activities involved in the upkeep of a newly renovated 9 HYQ Har-Tru clay tennis courts & 2 pickleball courts, including areas surrounding the courts, and perform related tasks as required. The part-time shift will provide a clean, safe, and secure environment within the TYCC Tennis/Pickleball courts that satisfy Tampa Yacht & Country Club standards.
Day-to-Day
- professionally maintain courts and ensure that the environment is consistently safe for TYCC membership, staff, & guests.
- Complete assigned tasks that range from simple to more complex such as but not limited to brushing and lining tennis courts, blowing off sidewalks, repairing tennis lines, raking & rolling courts, clearing leaves & debris from playing surfaces, reapplying clay, & dry courts.
- Operate, maintain, and clean court equipment, golf cart, and power tools following operating instructions and safety rules.
- Always maintain the appropriate levels of tennis/pickleball area amenities. This includes, but is not limited to towels, cups, ice, and coolers.
- To maintain all equipment in proper working condition and compliance with safety standards.
- Responsible for seeing that daily assignments are completed in the respective areas, to meet TYCC standards and as communicated in the employee handbook.
Job Type
· The part-time/ full-time. 5-6 working days a week, days vary Monday-Sunday 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
Pay
· $15 - $16 hour
Experience
· Court Maintenance 1-3 years(preferred)
License/Certification
· Welch or Har-TRU Court Maintenance Certification(preferred)
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Previous Har-Tru court maintenance experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
