POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technical Information and Process Improvement Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and performance of our food manufacturing processes. They will identify, assess, and improve operations, collaborate with colleagues to scope out process improvement opportunities, and manage product nutritional statements and ingredient lists. The Technical Information and Process Improvement Manager is responsible for gathering and analyzing operational data to create actionable insights, generate reports, and communicate key metrics to stakeholders across the company. Additionally, maintaining the process for the generation, storage, and distribution of technical and quality documentation, product formulation, and material specifications is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, assess, and improve operations related to food manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate and assist colleagues in the identification and scoping of processes improvement opportunities.
- Gather and analyze operations related data to create actionable insights, performance indicators, generate reports, and communicate metrics to stakeholders across the company.
- Manage product nutritional statements and ingredient lists.
- Maintain the process for generation, storage, and distribution of technical and quality documentation, product formulation, and material specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s in Food Science, Food Technology or Equivalent
- 2 years of experience as a Food Scientist, Food Technologist or related
- Knowledge in Food Processing Engineering, Food Quality and Safety, Sanitation, Microbiological Contaminants and Detection; Food Toxins, and HACCP
