Job Details
The MST Counselor will function as a member of a Multisystemic Therapy Treatment team providing behaviorally-based treatments for high-risk youth and their families. Duties include in-home assessment, community-based treatment, documentation, and proactive collaboration with youth, families, community members, and stakeholders in the youth and family ecosystem in full fidelity to the MST model.
Qualifications
Qualified Candidates
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a related field (Master's preferred, but Bachelor's required)
- Direct use of pragmatic (i.e., structural, strategic and functional) family therapies
- Previous experience with individual therapeutic work with adolescents and adults using cognitive behavioral techniques
- Previous experience in the area of marital therapy using behaviorally-based approaches
- Previous experience with behavioral therapeutic work targeting school behavior and academic performance
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
Required Special Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and meet the agency's driving requirements

Salary : $44,000 - $48,000
