About Camp Tanager
Established in 1926, Camp Tanager provides day and overnight camp programs to over 1,000 campers each summer. Campers from all backgrounds are welcome to attend our programs designed for fun, fitness, friendship and learning. Camp Tanager was voted Coolest Camp in Iowa in 2016 by The Philadelphia Inquirer for our unique and expansive program offerings.

Job Details
The Overnight Camp Counselor provides direction, supervision and support while facilitating a positive camping experience for all campers. The Overnight Camp Counselor has primary responsibility for those campers specifically assigned to the individual counselor. You will offer active, engaged and continuous supervision to all children and participate in maintenance of the facility after activities. The Overnight Camp Counselor should have the ability to live in a camp cabin for up to a week at a time.
