Job Summary: Job incumbent will provide support for the Physical Therapist with regard to preparing work areas. This position requires an individual with strong compassion for those patients who have movement difficulties due to injury or disease.
Adhere to the TCC Ch'eghwtsen' model of service and guiding principle which requires providing timely and effective service along with the ability to interact with others in a way that inspires trust and demonstrates respect, compassion and empathy.

Representative Duties: Under the direction of the Physical Therapy Supervisor job incumbent will:
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and perform routine departmental maintenance and care of equipment and supplies.
- Prepare treatment areas for therapy, stocked with appropriate supplies and equipment.
- Assist in the transportation of patients, records, equipment and supplies.
- Assist patients with dressing and undressing, removing and putting on braces or supportive equipment.

- Educate patients and their families and motivate them to follow treatment regimens at home.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Create and maintain progress of work orders.
- Assist front desk staff as needed.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must possess computer skills.
- Must pass background check pursuant to federal Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentially per the Privacy Act of 1974.
Supervision: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical demands: Work is primarily active with standing, walking, stretching and bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
