Receptionist - Job Description
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients, sponsors, and visitors, both in person and over the phone. This role requires a welcoming, professional, and organized individual who can effectively manage front office responsibilities while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate individuals.
- Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area.
- Assist with office management tasks, such as ordering supplies and coordinating maintenance requests.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Ensure a smooth patient check-in and check-out process, verifying information and collecting necessary documentation.
- Assist with data entry and maintaining office records.
- Handle confidential information appropriately, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Utilize and manage office technology, including online scheduling systems, MS Office Suite, and email platforms.

Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Customer Service: 2 year (Preferred)
- Call Center Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Experience in a medical office or front desk role is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree or coursework in business administration, healthcare administration, or related fields is a plus.
