A DAY IN THE LIFE:
You'll promote Tandem Diabetes products and services within your territory in partnership with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist. Your goal is to ensure the territory meets and exceeds company sales goals established by management. You'll lead strategic business planning, identify potential customers, establish and develop business relationships to facilitate the sale of Tandem products and services. Additionally, you'll provide account sales support and continuing education to patients, physicians, and their Clinical Educators on the technical use of insulin pump therapy.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The base pay for this position is $89,200 - $109,000 annually, with a target earning potential of $164,200 - $184,000 annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and may also fluctuate depending on candidate's location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes incentive compensation, equity, and a robust benefits package.

YOU'RE AWESOME IF YOU HAVE:
- BS/BA from a four-year college or university plus 3 years of related industry sales experience; preferably in one or more of the following areas: diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, and managed care. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Ability to travel at least 80% in your assigned territory; must maintain a valid driver's license and required auto insurance as well as good driving record, per company policy.
- Motivation and drive to meet and even exceed sales goals.
- Ability to relate effectively with patients, referral sources, and health care professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers to resolve issues and answer questions according to company protocols and requirements.
- Ability to assert own ideas and persuade others through effectively consolidating, evaluating, and presenting relevant information.
- Skilled at promoting team cooperation and commitment to team success.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing market and see change as an opportunity to improve business performance and will campaign for it when necessary.
