We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their food and beverages promptly and efficiently. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to deliver an exceptional dining experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and service excellence.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared correctly and promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing dishes and maintaining table settings.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the well-being of our guests.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining atmosphere.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, servers, and kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not required.
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service are essential.
