A Federally Qualified Health Center in the Bronx is currently seeking a licensed Psychiatrist for a promising position with their growing team.
About the Opportunity
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 830am to 5:30pm
- Setting: Outpatient
- Call: No Call
Responsibilities:
- Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
- He/She will collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers.
- Discuss care plans and progress in collaborative team approach model.
- Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
- Review patient's history and perform physical examination
- Evaluate, diagnose and provide appropriate treatment and patient care for disorders and diseases
Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted NY medical license
- Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry (MD/DO)
- DEA / BLS / ACLS
Desired Skills:
- Fluent in Spanish
- FQHC Experience Preferred
- 2 years of experience in previous mental health setting, outpatient clinic, or hospital

Salary : $290,000 - $310,000
