A healthcare network in Vermont is currently seeking a licensed Anesthesiologist for a promising opportunity with their growing team at the facility in Burlington.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7am to 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating patients' medical history, current health conditions, and potential risks before administering anesthesia
- Developing an individualized anesthesia plan based on the patient's needs and the type of procedure
- Delivering general, regional, or local anesthesia safely to ensure patient comfort and pain management
- Continuously tracking heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and other vital signs during surgery
- Providing pain relief through medications or techniques such as epidurals, nerve blocks, or IV medications
- Addressing complications such as allergic reactions, anesthesia side effects, or sudden changes in a patient's condition
- Overseeing patients' recovery from anesthesia, ensuring they regain consciousness safely, and managing postoperative pain
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Vermont
- Board Eligible / Certified in Anesthesiology
