What are the responsibilities and job description for the AV Tech position at Tandym Group?
An education network in New York City is currently seeking a new AV Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, the the AV Engineer will be the primary AV contact for all of Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Technical and their non-technical support staff.
This is an onsite opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at 5 days a week.
Responsibilities :
The AV Engineer will :
Provide AV support to the Executive Leadership Team on various technical issues including access, hardware, software and peripherals
Proactively identify process, technical or training improvements; suggest solutions that will benefit AV solutions for the organization
Handle all AV vendor management as needed
Support the current environment of products such as Polycom, Crestron, Zoom, Cisco, Etc.
Maintain confidentiality and privacy in all dealings with owners and Executives
Solve more complex problems or pass on responsibility to the appropriate technology team member
Assist with audio visual system setup and support for Executive-level Events
Assist with other Technology initiatives and projects as needed
Qualifications :
3 years of Audio / Visual experience
High School Diploma / GED
Computer and Tech savvy
Solid problem solving and time management skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
