A recognized banking company in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Finance professional to join their Financial Resource Management (FRM) team as their new AVP / VP - Capital Management. In this role, the AVP / VP - Capital Management will be responsible for spearheading strategic projects, analysis, and change management initiatives arising from the rapid growth of the business.
Responsibilities :
The AVP - Financial Resource Management will be responsible for :
Prepare impactful analyses and presentations for senior management, business leadership, and other key stakeholders
Partner within FRM and across the organization to drive regional and firmwide initiatives & profitability goals
Support efforts to effectively manage the firm's capital resources in line with regulatory requirements
Enhance the rigor and comprehensiveness of our capital stress testing infrastructure
Actively contribute to the strategic planning and management of regional and firmwide finance initiatives
Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Finance and / or a related field
Experience with a broad range of Corporate Finance initiatives : including Capital Structure Optimization, Financial Modeling, Capital Stress Testing, Management Reporting, etc.
Excellent spreadsheet modeling skills
Solid analytical and research skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized Desired Skills :
3 years of Banking or Consulting experience
Knowledge of Bank Regulations Capital & Stress Testing
Self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Proven track record of successfully driving projects to completion
Team-oriented
