A biotechnology organization is currently seeking a Global Procurement Specialist on a contract basis with a hybrid schedule.
Job Description
The Global Procurement Specialist - Facilities, Capital & Logistics (FC&L) supports the global Capital Lab Equipment and Services Category strategy to meet global and regional business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting negotiations, supplier management activities, and partner engagement activities.
- Working collaboratively with teammates as well as cross-functionally with team members across all campuses.
- Drafting contracts (regional/global), while working with internal legal department.
- Providing analysis of supplier spend in support of the Sourcing Manager category strategy.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Some amount of sourcing experience in pharma/biotech is preferred.
- Knowledge of sourcing contracting tools, ERPs, and eRFx systems (such as Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, and others) is preferred, as well as strong knowledge of MS Suite.
