A nonprofit health services organization in New York City is currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join their growing outpatient mental health clinic in the Bronx.
About the Opportunity :
Schedule : Monday to Friday
Hours : 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm
Setting : Outpatient Mental Health Clinic
Patient Population : Child / Adolescents
Responsibilities :
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the
Handle the clinical supervision of the Mental Health Therapists
Participate in program planning, monitoring and program evaluation
Attend weekly supervision with the Program Director and coordinate weekly team clinical consultations
Assist the Program Director in meeting all clinical requirements pertaining to the Outpatient 29i Clinic and the provision of data collection, interpretation, and reporting
Assess data reflective of the consumer's status
Interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each consumer's requirements relative to his or her age, and specific needs
Provide crisis assessment and consultation as applicable
Collaborate with the clinic team members as applicable in planning for the consumer's care and achieving treatment goals
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications :
Master's Degree in Social Work
NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Solid assessment and documentation skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Desired Skills :
4 years professional experience with emphasis on diagnostics and a team approach
