What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drone Operator position at Tandym Group?
Tandym Group is looking for Drone Operators to support a Fortune 10 Client in Seattle, WA or Phoenix, AZ.
Required Qualifications:
- Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
- 2 years of Remote-Control pilot experience with excellent coordination and execution.
- Employees must, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to lift up to 50 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Experience leading small teams.
- Travel up to 75% of the year.
- Valid Driver's License and able to satisfy Amazon driver eligibility criteria.
- Work in volatile weather conditions (heat, rain, wind, snow) all within the established safety thresholds.
- Drive to off site work locations daily (work vehicle will be provided).
- Work variable shifts and schedules including weekends when applicable.
- Overtime may be required and approved based off of work assignment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with commercial UAS industry.
- Aviation safety experience as a Safety Officer or similar.
- Excellent business communications and reporting skills.
