Tandym Group is a leading financial services firm in Connecticut seeking a skilled Fund Accounting Specialist to join their team.
Salary Range:
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description
- Assist with cash management and clearing & settlements processes.
- Contribute to daily reconciliations, monthly close packages, and annual financial statement preparation.
- Interact with prime brokers, custodians, fund administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Support Investor Relations and Legal / Compliance teams as needed.
- Help integrate new accounting/compliance system.
- Participate in month-end close process (monthly financials, investor statements, and NAV).
- Assist with various internal reports, including Performance, Valuation, Risk, etc.
- Support year-end audit and tax reporting requirements (1099's, K1's) for all funds.
- Manage data integrity across systems and reports.
- Oversee fee calculations and track fund expenses and employee expenses.
- Assist with regulatory reporting (ADV; Form PF, FATCA).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2 years of related work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Profit & Loss, Cash Reconciliations, Settlements, NAV's, etc.
- Computer savvy.
- Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized.
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
