A healthcare organization in New York City is looking to add a new Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and / or licensed Psychologist to join their team in Queens.
Responsibilities :
The Social Worker / Psychologist will :
Perform mental health assessments for patients to ascertain their diagnoses and establish treatment plans
Provide individual and group counseling and psychotherapy
Provide crisis intervention and / or counseling to diffuse conflicts among patients
Complete medical forms and documentation related to patient care
Make and / or track all referrals to other mental health agencies and providers
Work collaboratively with specialists for consultation and referral purposes
Maintain confidential case files, including documenting requests for confidential information
Follow the clinical chart review policies and procedures
Provide workshops for families on communication and other family-related issues
Coordinate emergency responses
Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree
Unrestricted NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and / or Psychologist license
Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) systems Desired Skills :
Master's Degree
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Prior experience with Substance Abuse issues
Working knowledge of eClinicalWorks
