Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Bilingual Spanish / English

A Community Health Center in Los Angeles is currently seeking a LCSW to join their team.

About the Opportunity :

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Schedule : Monday - Friday
  • Hours : 8 : 30a - 5 : 30p
  • Patient Population : All ages - medically underserved

Responsibilities : The LCSW will :

  • Assist the primary care provider in recognizing, treating and managing mental health & psychosocial issues.
  • Conduct client intakes, focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations.
  • Deliver focused intervention for clients who are in need of mental health services.
  • Provide consultation to clinic management and other team members about behavioral health services, suggested areas of outcome, and program evaluation.
  • Assist in project- related communication with the governmental agencies, i.e. Department of Mental Health.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and bank of local resources for outside referrals.

    • Qualifications :

  • Valid licensure in California as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Able to write and speak fluent Spanish and English

    • Desired Skills :

  • 3 years of clinical experience as a licensed clinician, working with diverse multi-ethnic communities.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience to supervise & mentor ASWs
  • Project & personnel management experience
  • Valid California driver's license and proof of Auto Insurance with daily access to a reliable vehicle
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Solid written, oral, and public communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible with schedule on as needed basis
