A healthcare company in New Jersey is looking to add a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and / or Physician Assistant (PA) to their Critical Care team at one of their facilities in Morris County.
About the Opportunity :
Setting : Hospital
Shift : Nights (2 days per week)
Hours : 6pm to 6am
Patient Volume : 18 to 24
EMR : Epic Responsibilities :
The Critical Care NP / PA will be responsible for :
Management of patients within the critical care setting in the combined Medical- Surgical Intensive Care Unit and the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
Working alongside the Medical Residents in managing patients housed in Cardiac Care Unit and Intensive Care Unit with supervision from the on-call ICU or Critical Care attendings who will be taking call remotely
Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications :
2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and / or Physician Assistant (PA)
Master's Degree
NJ Nurse Practitioner (NP) and / or Physician Assistant (PA) license
ACLS and BLS certifications
Computer savvy
Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized Desired Skills :
Critical Care experience
Experience in Ventilation Management
Experience in a Medical ICU role / setting
