An education network in NYC is currently seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join their team. In this role, the Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all team members and stakeholders.
About the Opportunity
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: until August
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm (1-hour unpaid lunch), hybrid schedule
Responsibilities:
- Represent the company positively to candidates and be a face for TA onsite and
- with hiring managers, promoting our culture and values.
- Schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels.
- Prepare and distribute recruitment-related documentation, such as offer letters and
- interview guides.
- Communicate effectively with candidates to provide updates, and necessary
- information regarding the hiring process.
- Partner with recruiters to ensure a positive candidate experience from application to
- onboarding.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and interviewers to facilitate a
- smooth hiring process.
- Manage multiple tasks with attention to detail in a dynamic work setting.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and manage last-minute scheduling changes effectively.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Maintain and update manual trackers and Workday recruiter with accurate
- candidate information.
- Track recruitment metrics and generate reports to support hiring strategies and
- process improvements..
- Handle sensitive candidate and company information with professionalism and
- discretion.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality in all hiring processes and communications.
- Assist with project-based work to enhance team effectiveness and
- operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in human resources coordination, operations coordination, administrative support, or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in Monday.com and other relevant project management tools
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting Talent Acquisition and/or HR team
- Interest in nonprofit or education
- Proficiency needed in Workday, Google Workspace and Mac
- Proficiency in Zoom, Monday.com, Greenhouse, HireVue and BrightHire preferred
