An education network in NYC is currently seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join their team. In this role, the Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all team members and stakeholders.

About the Opportunity

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Assignment Length: until August
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm (1-hour unpaid lunch), hybrid schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company positively to candidates and be a face for TA onsite and
  • with hiring managers, promoting our culture and values.
  • Schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels.
  • Prepare and distribute recruitment-related documentation, such as offer letters and
  • interview guides.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates to provide updates, and necessary
  • information regarding the hiring process.
  • Partner with recruiters to ensure a positive candidate experience from application to
  • onboarding.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and interviewers to facilitate a
  • smooth hiring process.
  • Manage multiple tasks with attention to detail in a dynamic work setting.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and manage last-minute scheduling changes effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Maintain and update manual trackers and Workday recruiter with accurate
  • candidate information.
  • Track recruitment metrics and generate reports to support hiring strategies and
  • process improvements..
  • Handle sensitive candidate and company information with professionalism and
  • discretion.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all hiring processes and communications.
  • Assist with project-based work to enhance team effectiveness and
  • operational efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in human resources coordination, operations coordination, administrative support, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in Monday.com and other relevant project management tools
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Solid problem solving and time management skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting Talent Acquisition and/or HR team
  • Interest in nonprofit or education
  • Proficiency needed in Workday, Google Workspace and Mac
  • Proficiency in Zoom, Monday.com, Greenhouse, HireVue and BrightHire preferred
