A healthcare organization in Connecticut is currently seeking a licensed Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Psychiatric team at one of their facilities in Fairfield County.
About the Opportunity :
Start Date : ASAP
Shift : Evenings
Schedule : Monday to Friday
Hours : 4pm to 12pm
Patient Population : Adults & Adolescents Responsibilities :
The Psychiatric Nurse (RN) will be responsible for :
Assessing patients throughout hospitalization
Actively identifying patient problems
Participating in the plan of care creation
Implementing and evaluating the interventions to meet the patient's needs
Providing and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu
Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
CT Registered Nurse (RN) license
Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Desired Skills :
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Psychiatric Nursing experience required
Experience working with the Acute Care, Dual Disorder, and / or Eating Disorder population
