Job Overview
A manufacturing company in Virginia is looking to add a new QA Tester to join their growing team. This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Test each build of multiple applications, writing test documentation, and reviewing all test procedures.
- Perform quality assurance-related activities.
- Help further develop a focused, and effective independent testing function.
- Use preventive techniques, such as defect root cause analysis and lessons learned sessions for continuous improvement.
- Document all work at the completion of all testing tasks.
- Provide specific task deliverables such as CAT tests on time in conformance with contract specifications and generally accepted business practices.
- Perform other duties, as needed.
