We are seeking a highly skilled QA Tester with experience in testing Python middleware systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and a deep understanding of financial systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our middleware applications.
This is a hybrid role, 2 days per week in Jersey City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Python middleware systems.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing.
- Automate test cases using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for financial systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Tester with a focus on Python middleware systems.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, pytest).
- Familiarity with financial systems and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with API testing and tools
- Knowledge of database testing and SQL.
