A healthcare network in New York is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team as their new Quality Improvement / Staff Education Nurse.
About the Opportunity :
Schedule : Monday to Friday
Hours : 8am to 4 : 30pm
Specialty : Home Care Responsibilities :
The Quality Improvement / Staff Education Nurse (RN) will :
Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of training, orientation and, in-service programs and competency assessment for all Home Care staff
Provide support of all clinical staff in the proper use of the Horizon Home Care clinical application
Conduct clinical record reviews and develops and implements educational programs in areas identified as requiring additional education to promote superior patient outcomes.
Plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the clinical documentation system and works with the IT staff to modify the system to meet changes in documentation requirements
Participate in the agencies QAPI Program
Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications :
3 years of Home Care experience
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience in Quality and / or Performance Improvement
Experience with Staff Education
Informatics experience Desired Skills :
Master's Degree in Nursing
