A recognized tech services company is currently seeking a new Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting Systems to join their growing team. In this role, the Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting Systems will be responsible for managing and updating system configurations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 8 months
- Location: Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC
Responsibilities:
- Monthly configuration of branch maintenance in all respective environments for the reports
- Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving configuration-related issues within the application, working closely with LOB teams and Axiom Vendor support, as necessary
- Analyzing data in Oracle DB utilizing basic to intermediate SQL skills
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for application configurations, including change logs, setup procedures, and user guides
- Working with the Regulatory Reporting team (LOB teams), internal EDA and EDO teams, and other stakeholders (LOB teams) to gather NEW/UPDATED requirements, understand configuration needs, and ensure system changes meet business and regulatory requirements for process improvements and enhancements
- Assisting in the summarization and communication of issues identified by the regulatory reporting team, provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders and management, and communicate with regulatory reporting team members, senior management, and relevant department heads to present findings and propose solutions.
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 5 years of direct experience managing system configurations, implementing system changes, and troubleshooting application issues
- 3 years of previous experience in Regulatory Reporting or related fields with a basic understanding of regulations
- Direct experience with configuration and maintenance of Axiom XL with strong expertise in Controller View for solution related to Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Last Mile, Call Report and Y9C Report
- Strong understanding of implementation of Axiom along with data integrations
- Proficient in configuring and maintaining Regulatory Reporting applications, including system settings and user configurations
- Strong technical skills in understanding and managing application data integration point
- Competent in creating and maintaining detailed documentation for application configurations, change logs, and user guides
- Oracle basic to intermediate SQL skills
- Deep understanding of each report development building blocks
- Proficiency in converting NEW/UPDATED business requirements into Axiom configured solutions
