A biotech company in California is actively seeking an experienced professional to join their growing team as a Software QA Engineer. In this role, the Software QA Engineer will be responsible for the design of test solutions to verify single cell sorting product software.
Responsibilities :
The Software QA Engineer will :
- Test basic features of new softer releases using pre-defined test plans and scripts to identify defects
- Follow uniform testing procedures
- Document results and uses designated systems and tools to track outcomes
- Perform follow-up rounds of testing as needed
- Execute testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards
- Prepare data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows.
- Isolate, reproduce, and track defects; verify fixes
- Document testing according to required procedures
- Assist with the content of new testing scripts and plans
- Ensure that all verification activities are conducted in accordance with Quality System requirements
- Perform other duties, as needed
