A Hospital in Garden City is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (fully onsite)
- Hours: 8:30a - 5p
Responsibilities:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will:
- Assisting with the onboarding of new hires (e.g. administering required tests for all team members with this requirement, reviewing onboarding paperwork)
- Coordinate/schedule appointments for the talent acquisition team.
- Cover front desk; answer phones and direct inquires accordingly.
- Completes source verification on licenses, certifications and education as required. Complete background checks and Justice Center notifications on all new hires as required.
- Create new hire data packages for the education department and home department.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a HR talent acquisition coordinator or similar role
- Ability to manage a broad range of HR tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience with resume database and Applicant Tracking System
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of information technology, including hardware and software applications, used in the Human Resources function.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication
