A successful CPA Firm in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their team as their new Tax Manager / Senior Manager. In this role, the Tax Manager / Senior Manager will be responsible for leading and managing multiple tax engagements to deliver federal and state services for a diverse client base. Preparation and review of business income, personal income, sales and use, and payroll taxes.
Responsibilities :
The Tax Manager / Senior Manager will :
Prepare and review of business income, personal income, sales and use, and payroll taxes.
Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate basic knowledge of clients' businesses
Work closely with Tax Partners to satisfy the needs with planning compliance
Research, write and consult on various tax engagements
Respond to inquiries from tax authorities
Train and supervise staff along with reviewing and evaluating their work
Manage multiple clients Qualifications :
- 6 years of prior experience in Public Accounting and Tax
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Microsoft Excel proficient
Strong accounting and analytical skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly orbanized
