What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President of Capital Markets position at Tandym Group?
A recognized financial services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their growing team as their new Vice President of Capital Markets.
Responsibilities :
The Vice President of Capital Markets will :
Source financing relationships (warehouse and A-Notes) and maintain relationships with existing financings
Work alongside portfolio managers and members to identify ideal debt and equity partner transactions
Maintain a pipeline of active and prospective capital markets participants and create marketing materials for secondary market transactions
Maintain covenant compliance across all financing facilities
Assist with financial modeling of commercial real estate transactions and for utilizing market data / comps
Develop and structure financing proposals for presentation internally to the Credit committee, and externally to potential debt and equity partners
Assist in securitization efforts including preparing offering memorandum, collateral data tapes, and data rooms
Support the firm's existing investment asset management functions by analyzing performance, credit, and market conditions across the seasoned loan portfolio
Interact and communicate with borrowers to address sensitive and non-routine matters in addition to risk related items
Assist in business development and fund marketing, with significant external exposure to existing investors, prospective equity partners, and clients
Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications :
5 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets, Banking, and / or Brokerage
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with Financial Modeling and Risk Analysis
Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Solid analytical and problem solving skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
